The Blue Helmet
I really enjoyed this book. I started reading it before I joined the club and my teacher pointed out that it was on the list. It was actually quite inspiring. A boy about my age turned his life around and gains a friend in the process. He learns to be responsible and what it's like to be relied on. Before then, nobody had really trusted or depended on him and he liked the feeling. He realizes near the end that the world doesn't really revolve around him and that by being a bully to a bully, he's not a hero in anyone's book.
